With the arrival of July, 46 new movies and television shows have landed on Netflix UK this week.

Still, you aren’t too far off the mark as the animation studio behind the film, Studio Ponoc, was founded by Yoshiaki Nishimura, former lead film producer of Studio Ghibli. One of the best-animated films you’ll see on Netflix all year, The Imaginary is the perfect film to sit down with the family this weekend.
Rudger, Amanda’s imaginary friend, suddenly finds himself alone when he arrives at The Town of Imaginaries, where imaginary creations come to live and find work after being forgotten.
