It’s a slightly busier week with 40 new additions to the UK library. This week sees the arrival of the Academy-Award-winning feature Green Book, World War 2 thriller Allied, and the finale of Sunderland ‘Til Die.
First of all, here are the week’s top highlights:
Green Book (2018)

Genre: Comedy, Drama | Runtime: 129 Minutes
Cast: Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali, Linda Cardellini, Sebastian Maniscalco, Dimiter Marinov
Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, and Best Original Screenplay saw Green Book win three deserved Academy Awards. Ali’s performance was phenomenal, and while Viggo Mortensen was only nominated for his performance, he still put in an award-winning performance.
Tony Lip, a working-class Italian-American bouncer, is hired to drive African American classical pianist Dr. Donald Shirley on his tour across the American South in the 1960s.
Allied (2016)
Director: Robert Zemeckis
Genre: Spy, Thriller | Runtime: 125 Minutes
Cast: Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard, Jared Harris, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Betts
Forest Gump and Back to the Future director Rober Zemeckis proved why we need more World War 2-era spy movies in Hollywood with Allied.
Max Vatan, a spy for the Allies in World War 2, falls in love with a beautiful French spy. But he strives to prove her innocence when he learns she might be a double agent.
Sunderland ‘Til I Die (Season 3) N

Genre: Documentary, Sport | Runtime: 38 Minutes
It is one of the first majorly successful sports documentaries on Netflix. After a long hiatus, the series returns for two more episodes, chronicling Sunderland’s success in finally getting out of League One via the playoffs.
