Best New Movies And Tv Shows Added To Netflix Feb

Picture: Avatar: The Last Airbender and Everything Everywhere All At Once are now available to stream on Netflix

 This week on Netflix will be dominated by the release of the live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender. That doesn’t mean there aren’t other excellent new movies and TV series to be watched too, though. This week also includes the Academy award-winning Everything Everywhere All At Once and the sixth season of F1: Drive to Survive.

Avatar The Last Airbender (Season 1) N

Having binged the series on the first day, we can confirm we’re big fans of the Netflix Avatar series, and everyone should be watching it this weekend.

The balance and fate of the world rests in the hands of 12-year-old Avatar Airbender Aang, who must journey across the globe to master all four elements.


Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)

Cast: Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Jamie Lee Curtis, James Hong

From making music videos like Turn Down What to Academy Award winners, the rise of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert has been meteoric! It is one of the wildest and most entertaining films of 2022 that deserves all of its plaudits.

An audit of an aging Chinese immigrant’s laundromat triggers an inter-dimensional adventure where she comes into contact with all the lives she could have led.


All Good Things (2010)

Cast: Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst, Frank Langella, Lily Rabe, Philip Baker Hall

An overlooked crime-drama that fans of the likes of Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst should be watching this weekend.

Real estate scion David Marks marries Katie, a woman from the middle class, against the wishes of David’s father. When Katie mysteriously disappears, David is suspected of killing his wife.


Melancholia (2011)

Genre: Drama, Sci-Fi | Runtime: 135 Minutes
Cast: Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Alexander Skarsgård, Brady Corbet, Cameron Spurr

One of the highest-rated sci-fi dramas you may have never heard of, Melancholia was nominated and won many awards in 2011. However, being snubbed by the Oscars and Golden Globes may be why many subscribers haven’t heard of it. Make sure to add Melancholia to your watch list this weekend.

The strained relationship between the two sisters is tested when a mysterious new planet collides with Earth.


Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken (2023)

Cast: Lana Condor, Toni Collette, Jane Fonda, Annie Murphy, Sam Richardson

Sadly, Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken was a disaster for Dreamworks at the box office, but you can’t blame children for not attending the theatres if the parents didn’t take them! Without a doubt, this will still be exceptionally popular with young children.

A shy fifteen-year-old teenager, Ruby Gillman, discovers she is a descendant of legendary Kraken warrior queens.


Thanksgiving (2023)

Cast: Patrick Dempsey, Ty Olsson, Gina Gershon, Lynne Griffin, Karen Cliche

Renowned horror director Eli Roth had lots of bloody fun directing this holiday-themed feature, which grossed $46.5 million worldwide on its $10 million budget.

One year after a terrible Black Friday riot that ended in tragedy, a Thanksgiving-inspired killer begins to haunt the streets of Plymouth, Massachusetts, picking off residents one by one.


Formula 1: Drive to Survive (Season 6) N

Genre: Documentary, Sport | Runtime: 40 Minutes

The 2023 season was another year dominated by Red Bull and World Champion Max Verstappen. As always, Drive to Survive chronicles the drama that unfolded over the F1 season.


Mea Culpa (2024) N

Tyler Perry has formed a very lucrative and creative partnership with Netflix, which has resulted in former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland taking center stage in Perry’s steamy thriller.

Criminal defense attorney Mea Harper takes on one of the most complicated cases of her career when artist Zyair Malloy is accused of murder. As she learns more about her cagey and seductive client, she soon learns the truth isn’t always what it seems, and everyone is guilty of something.
