Four months into 2024, it’s been a steady year for new K-dramas on Netflix. Crime-ridden drama, thrilling stories, and head-over-heels romance have been featured extensively.
With many K-dramas due to arrive in 2024, we can’t wait to see which titles from the list below will remain in the top five list by the end of the year.

One of the better-performing South Korean movies we’ve seen in a long time, My Name is Loh Kiwan has been highly praised by fans for its emotionally driven story, with heartwarming performances from Song Joong Ki and Choi Sung Eun.
Loh Kiwan, a defector from North Korea, has landed in Belgium. Wishing to settle down, he hopes to receive refugee status from the government, where he meets Marie, a former Korean turned Belgian citizen. Still, unlike Loh Kiwan, who is finding a new life, Marie wishes hers was over.

Yeon Sang Ho’s adaptation of Iwaaki Hitoshi’s manga Parasyte, which will land on Netflix this week, has been a long-awaited release. With the mind behind Train to Busan, we’re hoping Parasyte: The Grey will be a resounding success for Netflix.
The story revolves around Jung Soo In, who is infected with a parasite on her hand and start a strange cohabitation as it failed to steal her brain. Seol Kang Woo chases a parasitic water to find his missing sister, and Choi Jun Kyung is the team leader of the parasitic life team ‘The Grey’, and lives only to exterminate the parasitic water after losing her husband to the parasitic water.
A Killer Paradox

When this list was published, Queen of Tears was only halfway through its 16-episode run and performing incredibly well on Netflix and cable television in South Korea. With eight episodes remaining to improve upon its 16.143% nationwide rating, there’s a significant chance the K-drama could find a place among the top ten highest-rated cable television dramas in history. Not to mention, Netflix has millions more views weekly.
Baek Hyun-Woo is the legal director for the conglomerate Queens Group. He is the most successful person to have come from his hometown village of Yongdu-ri and is the pride of that village. Baek Hyun-Woo is married to Hong Hae-In, the daughter of the family that owns and operates Queens Group. She is known as the “Arrogant Queen” at Queens Department Store.
