Netflix has become the king of the stand-up comedies giving all kinds of standups, new and old a platform to perform their best routines.
The very first Netflix Original Standup special was released back in 2012 by Bill Burr. We’ve also notably seen big comebacks such as Dave Chappelle who performed two shows exclusively for Netflix after a long hiatus.
As from early 2017, Netflix now releases at least one standup comedy a weekly, usually on a Tuesday.
