Over the years, the WWE has pulled back the curtain on the behind-the-scenes of wrestling more and more. This time, Netflix and the WWE are offering a chance to see inside the writer’s room in a new documentary, WWE: Unreal. Coming to Netflix in Summer 2025, subscribers will have the opportunity to see how the drama unfolds behind the scenes.
WWE: Unreal is an upcoming Netflix Original docuseries directed by Chris Weaver, known for All or Nothing. Erik Powers is the showrunner of the series, which NFL Films, Omaha Productions, Skydance Sports, and the WWE produce.
Jessica Boddy, Keith Cossrow, Lee Fitting, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Houser, Ross Ketover, Peyton Manning, Marc Pomarico, and Ken Rodgers are the executive producers of the series.
When is WWE: Unreal coming to Netflix?
It has been confirmed that WWE: Unreal is coming to Netflix in Summer 2025.
We have yet to learn of a preliminary release date and expect to receive an official release date soon.
What is the plot of WWE: Unreal?
Netflix has unveiled a brief synopsis for the documentary:
“For the first time ever, step beyond the ring and into the WWE writer’s room, where the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight.”
