Will there be a Season 2 of Paranoid on Netflix?

It’s been three years since Paranoid dropped on Netflix exclusively and as we’re digging through the back-catalog of Netflix, we’ll be taking a look at what happened to some of Netflix’s shows. Will the British ITV series Paranoid be coming back for season 2 and if so, when will it be available? Let’s take a look. 

Before we take a look into the second season, let’s take a look as to how it came to Netflix. Paranoid was an ITV and Netflix co-production. It wasn’t the first ITV co-production nor has it been the last.

The news surrounding the show was first announced in August 2016. A trailer released shortly after.

The series then aired its eight episodes on ITV in the United Kingdom between September 2016 and November 2016. A week later, it joined Netflix around the world on November 11th, 2016.

ITV kept the TV show on its platforms for a year before it then arrived on Netflix UK on October 22nd, 2017.

Will there ever be a season 2 of Paranoid on Netflix?

The confirmation of the show’s cancellation came in the middle of 2017 when one of the show’s main stars, Indira Varma took to Twitter to crush the dreams of a second season.

We weren’t able to find any official reason behind the announcement but ITV does produce quite a lot of limited crime series like Paranoid. We also should consider the stars of the show had other major projects at the time like Indira Varma who appeared in Game of Thrones.

There you have it. Paranoid will not be returning for season 2 on Netflix.
