Why Isnt Jane The Virgin On Netflix Yet

Jane the Virgin season 4 has slipped on its Netflix release date and has yet to be added to the streaming service in the United States. Why has it skipped the release date and when will it be on Netflix?

It’s the season of The CW on Netflix in April and May with many of their shows now wrapping up for the year. With the exclusive deal with Netflix struck back in 2016, new series comes to Netflix faster than ever. Usually, titles arrive 7 days after the series finale airs.

Jane the Virgin S4 was announced be to arriving on Netflix for April 28th but as of today (April 29th) is still not available.

It’s the not the first time a series or movie has missed its originally slated release date. Z-Nation was the most recent example of it slipping by a week or so.

We reached out to Netflix support who weren’t able to provide us with an updated release date but did have this to say: “as of now there is no specific date for it to be released. If the title is ready and launches onto Netflix – you will receive an email that is”. Furthermore, Netflix support added, “content provider has no confirmation of the date” also adding “April is not yet over so let us just hope for it soon”.

Other regions have already gotten Jane the Virgin season 4 includes the United Kingdom.
