This past Summer has been an excellent time to be an anime fan with a Netflix subscription. Ending the Summer with the excellent Carole & Tuesday, fans are already demanding to know when we can expect Part 2 to land! Expected to land later this fall, here’s when we can expect Carole & Tuesday part 2 will be on Netflix.
Carole & Tuesday is a Netflix Original anime created by animation studio, Studio Bones and was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe. The series stars Miyuri Shimabukuro (Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs) and Kana Ichinose (Darling in the Franxx).
In the not too distant future, Humanity has colonized Mars. 50 years on from when the first colony settled humanity has entered into a new age of culture produced by A.I. 2 young women who aspire to become musicians have a fateful encounter and soon the pair starts a movement of music they didn’t think was possible.
When will Part 2 of Carole & Tuesday be on Netflix?
We now have confirmation that Carole & Tuesday: Part 2 will be coming to Netflix on Christmas Eve 2019!

The second half of Carole & Tuesday will arrive with 12 more musically amped episodes.

I’ve been watching Carole and Tuesday on Netflix and really enjoying it! The characters are fun and they take lots of jabs at what it’s like for new people trying to make music. And so far all the songs have been really lovely, even by characters not in the main cast!

Will Carole & Tuesday have a second season?
As the series doesn’t have a manga or light novel for source material, this is entirely at Studio Bones’ discretion.
The series was developed to commemorate the Studio’s 20th Anniversary and the 10th anniversary of the record label FlyingDog.
A manga for the series has been issuing chapters in Young Ace since May 2019. Whether or not the manga adaptation will go beyond the story of the anime series has yet to be confirmed.
If the series is popular enough then there’s no reason why the story of Carole & Tuesday can’t continue. Alternatively, a spin-off series could be developed instead.
