The release date for the second season of Italian drama Suburra: Blood on Rome (Suburra – La serie) has been announced for February 2019.
Season 2 of the Italian crime drama comes a year and several months after the first ten episodes, which comprised season 1, arrived in October 2017. Notably, Suburra was the first full-fledged Netflix Original produced from Italy wholly in Italian. The streaming service has since produced Baby and picked up titles like Maggie & Bianca Fashion Friends and Medici: Masters of Florence.
Confirmed to be returning for season 2 are Alessandro Borghi, Giacomo Ferrara, and Eduardo Valdarnini.
The second season’s production began in April 2018 before wrapping up in August.
Once again, you’ll be able to watch season 2 of Suburra: Blood on Rome in either native Italian with English subtitles or there’ll be dubs available in English, French, Polish, Portuguese. Audio descriptions will also be available for Italians. The series will once again be filmed in 4K.
