Netflix is getting all four of the first seasons of Billy on the Street, the reality series which pits Billy Eichner against the public. Here’s what you need to know about the series, why it’s coming to Netflix and which Netflix regions are getting it.
The premise of the show is simple. Billy Eichner who is a comedian is given a microphone and it’s his job to quiz the average American with his various games including For a Dollar and Quizzed in the Face.
The series has been in existence since 2011 with the most recent season arriving back in 2017. Season 1 consists of 10 episodes, season 2 consists of 12, season 3 of 10 and season 4 of 10 also.
The series has flipped channels over the past few years but most people know it for its longest stint on truTV. Season 5, however, was released purely on Funny or Die’s YouTube platform.
You may know Netflix has an ongoing relationship with Funny or Die because they just produced the Between Two Ferns movie and the now-canceled American Vandal.
The move to Netflix was first announced by Billy Eichner on Twitter before being later confirmed in the list of November 2019 Netflix releases.

When will Billy on the Street be on Netflix?
Netflix in the United States is getting the first four seasons on November 1st, 2019.
Sadly, no other region was announced to also be the recipient of the show.
The only two remaining questions you may have is whether or not season 5 will come to Netflix or the later produced web episodes. You may also be wondering if Netflix is gearing up for a possible revival or go in the direction of Between Two Ferns by giving Billy Eichner a movie. Hopefully, we’ll find out the answers to both of those in due course.
If you need more Billy Eichner your best would be to check out Parks & Recreation on Netflix (if you’re in the US) where the entire series is currently streaming at least until next year.
