The final entry in the Sailor Moon Crystal story, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos: The Movie, is coming to Netflix in two parts in August 2024.
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos: The Movie is a Japanese anime film directed by Tomoya Takahashi and animated by Toei Animation and Studio Deen. The story is the sequel to Sailor Moon Eternal, which was previously released in two parts on Netflix in 2021. The film serves as the fifth and final season of the Sailor Moon Crystal story.

Fans will be delighted to learn that parts 1 and 2 of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos: The Movie will be available on Netflix on August 22nd, 2024.
Each movie has a runtime of 80 minutes. The total runtime to watch both movies back to back is 160 minutes.

The plot is a direct continuation of the story from Sailor Moon Eternal and will serve as the fifth and final season of the Sailor Moon Crystal anime.

“Sailor Moon must stand up and fight once again when a new enemy called Shadow Galactica, an organization bent on destroying everything and ruling the universe, begins eliminating her friends one by one. Her task requires her to persevere when solitude threatens to overwhelm her. Will she be able to protect those she loves? What awaits her beyond the battle? Sailor Moon fights on despite the pressure of her self-imposed mission as the final chapter of the beautiful and strong Sailor Guardians begins.”
