Vikings Seasons Coming To Netflix March

All six seasons of the beloved History Channel series Vikings will arrive on Netflix in the United States (and possibly the United Kingdom) on March 30th, 2024.

On the air between 2013 and 2020, the Michael Hirst-created historical action drama series ran for a total of six seasons and 89 episodes. For the most part, the series aired on The History Channel, but the final half of season 6 aired exclusively on Prime Video. Since then, the series has been available in full on Prime Video and Hulu.

The cast for the series included Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnick, Clive Standen, Jessalyn Gilsig, Gustaf Skarsgård, and Gabriel Byrne. The series primarily focuses on Ragnar Lothbrok (played by Fimmel) a legendary Norse warrior.

Of course, Netflix went on to release a prequel series in the form of Vikings: Valhalla exclusively over the course of three seasons, with the third and final season set to arrive on Netflix at some point in 2024. The licensing of the original series was part of the initial three-season order of the spinoff. Netflix is also home to a mobile game for the spin-off too.

You may recall we’ve already spoken about Vikings coming to Netflix United States and the United Kingdom a few years back. Back then, we only knew the show would arrive on the service sometime in 2024. We had wondered whether that would no longer come to fruition given that MGM Television, the distributor of the show, was acquired by Amazon and could’ve conceivably scuppered the deal.

For other regions, Vikings has been a part of the Netflix library for some coming up for a decade now, with many having streamed the show partially or entirely since as early as 2015.

Vikings isn’t the only licensed series heading to Netflix US in March 2024. You’ve also got all five seasons of the classic sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show to look forward to on March 1st and all six seasons of The Resident, which lands on March 4th. We’re also hearing two more licensed shows heading your way at the end of the month – more on this soon.
