Netflix UK for the first time has secured exclusive rights to Suits and will be the only provider that you can catch USA Network’s lawyer drama. In the deal, new episodes will be coming each week just hours after its US air date.
The series follows the two lawyers on their journey at a top law firm. The secret of Mike’s past is forever hanging above their heads and compromises their situations on more than one occasion. Suits is a show about persistence, lies and business. It’s both serious and comedic and it’s easy to get sucked into their stories. They’re smart, they’re determined and they’re awesome.
The series first aired in the US in 2011 and has consistently had 16 episodes a year ever since.
Up until recently, UKTV’s Dave carried the show with new seasons premiering on there before the whole season dropped on Netflix quite some time afterwards. TVwise reports that the channel moving away from US acquisitions is partly for blame.
As with other deals we’ve seen frequently in the UK on Netflix, new episodes will be airing shortly after the US air date. Other deals we’ve seen like this currently include Power, USA Network’s Shooter for seasons 1 and 2 and a whole host of other series which can be found here.

For those in the United States, the series is still not available to stream as it currently resides on Hulu. However, this new deal could open the door to possible talks going forward.
