The eleventh (!) Sniper movie in the franchise debuted earlier this year on digital release and has just been confirmed to be part of the Netflix US roster for May 2025.
In this eleventh entry, we see the return of Chad Michael Collins as Brandon Beckett. The ace sniper collaborates with the mysterious Agent Zero to prevent a ruthless arms dealer from deploying a devastating superweapon. Sent deep into the jungles of Costa Verde, they lead a squad of elite soldiers against a relentless militia force. As Beckett mentors a rookie sniper and steps into a leadership role for the first time, he must learn to command — not just shoot. With the clock ticking and their ammunition dwindling, survival becomes the ultimate battle in a fight to save the world from destruction.
Ryan Robbins will join Collins this time around as the aforementioned Zero. Sharon Taylor, Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, Noxolo Dlamini, Shamilla Miller, and Vusi Kunene round out the cast. Danishka Esterhazy (Black Field, Level 16, The Banana Splits Movie) takes over directing duties from Oliver Thompson, who worked on entries 9 and 10.
The film, scheduled to hit only Netflix US for the moment, will be streaming from May 6th, 2025. It comes just months after the film first premiered on digital release on January 21st, 2025.
This is the third Sniper movie to now come to Netflix first before other streamers, all part of the aforementioned Sony Pictures first window deal. The first came in December 2022 with the release of Sniper: Rogue Mission, which was followed up on Christmas Day in 2023 with Sniper: G.R.I.T. Global Response & Intelligence Team. Both were available for 18 months before cycling off the service in the US. Prior movies also regularly cycle on and off the service.
Reviews for the new entry aren’t particularly strong, but they’re not available in abundance either. Nick Rogers from the Midwest Film Journal is one of the few reviewers who have tackled the film, saying, “There are some obvious frustrations and limitations inherent to the low-budget concern of the whole thing. But the “Sniper” franchise has found a solid — and refreshingly female-centric — groove in its third decade.” The film holds a 4.6 on IMDb based on 800 reviews.
