Love is Netflix’s modern day romantic comedy series that’s aimed towards the younger generations whereas it covers the other side of the age spectrum with Grace and Frankie. Both series have been doing well with their respective audiences and have actually been improving with each passing season. Season 2 of Love landed on Netflix on March 10th, 2017 and has been the best season so far with more promised for the future.

The two main characters, played by Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust really got into the stride of things in season 2 making their characters more relatable than the first season.
The series comes from Judd Apatow who has graced mainly the movie scene up until now but has transitioned to television wonderfully and looks like it’ll get better with more time.
Season 3 Renewal Status
Official Renewal Status: The series has been renewed for a third season by Netflix.
Announced just before, albeit on the low, it was reported in Variety that the series had already been renewed by Netflix. The news broke on February 8th, 2017 but hasn’t really gained traction. Although the official Netflix media sources haven’t got official word, it’s expected that this information is factual.
Love Season 3 Netflix Release Date
Predicting Netflix Originals release schedules is sometimes tricky but luckily their catalog of Netflix Original comedy series have all followed consistent patterns and even if they haven’t, they’re not released in ridiculously long periods. Grace and Frankie, which we compared the show to earlier, have been releasing new seasons consistently on a yearly basis. Other comedies such as Master of None and Flaked, we’re having to wait substantially longer for.
The gap between seasons 1 and 2 of Love was around 13 months and given how early the show was announced for a third season, we can expect that trend to continue. That means, we’re likely to see season 3 of Love come to Netflix in February/March 2018.
One thing that could cause any kind of delay would be other side projects for the showrunner Judd Apatow. If a big movie comes along that could interrupt things but we haven’t heard anything on that as of the time of writing.
