Who knew that dairy products had the answer to peace and prosperity? For anyone confused about the ending to the sixth episode of Love, Death and Robots allow us to help! When human scientists accidentally create a superior intelligent being through experimenting on Yogurt, the universe as we know it will be changed forever.

Ending Explained

When humanity finally gives in to the whims and superior intelligence of the Yogurt, after 10 years of living under its control humanity finally has peace. Humanity is happy, wealthy and healthy all thanks to the Yogurt’s leadership. The Yogurt then leaves humanity behind on Earth and sets out to travel amongst the stars. Without the guidance of the Yogurt, humanity is doomed to destroy itself.

If Humanity had followed the Yogurt’s formula, to begin with, they would have found peace a long time ago. Even though humanity now has the formula to keep peace and prosperity on Earth it is heavily implied that thanks to humanity’s vanity they will inevitably veer from the formula. With the Yogurt leaving to travel amongst the stars, it is further implied that without the guidance of the Yogurt, humanity naturally will regress into a state of perpetual war, greed, and vanity.

As for the Yogurt traveling the stars, it will spread its formula amongst the universe and bring prosperity to races across the Galaxy.

If human scientists made a superior being like the Yogurt once… what’s stopping them from doing it again? Humanity may not be doomed after all. Ironically thanks to the sheer intelligence of the Yogurt if they were to create more then the Yogurt would simply question why humanity didn’t follow the formula given in the first place…
