Ahn Eun Jin and Jang Ki Yong star in the upcoming weekly SBS workplace rom-com series, Kiss Me for No Reason. As part of Netflix’s deal with SBS, the K-drama will be broadcast simultaneously on the streaming service from September 2025. Here’s everything we know so far about Kiss Me for No Reason on Netflix.

Kiss Me for No Reason is an upcoming South Korean romantic-comedy series co-directed by Kim Jae Hyun and written by Ha Yoon Ah. The South Korean network SBS produces the series.

So far, only two of SBS’s upcoming slate have been confirmed to be coming to Netflix later this year, which are Try: We Become Miracles and Kiss Me for No Reason. We expect more weekly SBS k-dramas to be announced for Netflix, as the streaming service signed a lucrative deal with the South Korean broadcaster at the end of 2024, which includes bringing legacy SBS programming to Netflix, alongside brand-new weekly K-dramas from the second half of 2025.

The X account @ggonigone, who has reliably reported on new titles coming to Netflix in the past, posted on April 22nd, 2025, that both Try: We Become Miracles and Kiss Me for No Reason will have a simultaneous broadcast release on Netflix.

Netflix and SBS have yet to confirm this officially, but we’d expect confirmation soon.

There will be a total of 14 episodes, with two episodes broadcast each week on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Each episode will have an approximate runtime of 70 minutes.
