Another exhilarating season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory has answered some burning questions from Jurassic World: Dominion as the Nublar Six head to the Biosyn Sanctuary. However, Netflix has yet to announce a fourth season of Chaos Theory, but we expect confirmation of renewal soon. Here’s what we know about the fourth season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory on Netflix.
Jurassic World Chaos Theory is the sequel to Camp Cretaceous and an excellent addition to the Jurassic World franchise, which DreamWorks Animation Television and Amblin Entertainment developed. Set six years after the events of Camp Cretaceous, the Nublar Six (albeit without the return of Jenna Ortega, sadly) are known worldwide and are trying to move on with their lives. But after Brooklyn’s death and the suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, the remaining members of the Nublar Six find themselves in grave danger.
Has Jurassic World: Chaos Theory been renewed?
At the time of writing, Netflix has not announced if a fourth season of Jurassic World Chaos Theory is happening. Given that the series has not reached a conclusive ending, we expect to see the series return for a fourth and perhaps final season.
Matthew from NerdNewsToday reported that the Toy Fair 2025 showed off plenty of new Jurassic World toys that were coming soon. In the video uploaded on YouTube, he stated that two seasons of Chaos Theory will be released, one before Jurassic World: Rebirth, the third season, and one after the film’s release, which would be the fourth season. However, we are still waiting for the official confirmation from Netflix.
What happened in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 3?
As we expected, the third season of Chaos Theory followed the events of Jurassic World: Dominion, particularly those surrounding Malta and the dinosaur breakout from its black market.
The Handler returns…
This season saw the return of the mysterious handler. After spending the season trying to win back the Atrcoiraptors from Santos, a dramatic confrontation between the pair did result in her bond with the raptors overcoming the programming developed by Biosyn. Sadly, for the handler, Santos’ contingency plan was to use a trained Carnatauros to defend her, which resulted in the death of Ghost. The Handler stopped the Carnotaurus from further attacking her beloved raptors, which resulted in her being eaten by the large carnivore. The three remaining raptors fled after her death.

Soyona Santos Arrested
One of the biggest mysteries concerning the events of Jurassic World: Dominion was the escape of Soyona Santos. However, Chaos Theory now firmly answers that question. After the showdown between her and the Handler, Darius and Yaz, who were in pursuit of Brooklynn, reached the pair. After Brooklynn was able to stall for time by pretending to threaten her friends, which allowed Barry, Ben, Davi, and French Intelligence agents to arrive. With the Carnotaurus subdued, Barry was finally able to arrest the illegal dinosaur broker.
Interestingly, not many villains survive in the Jurassic Park/World franchise, which leaves us wondering if this isn’t the last we’ll see of Soyona Santos.

Biosyn Sanctuary
With the Biosyn Sanctuary nearby, the lack of security allowed a Pyroraptor to escape into the Dolomite Mountains of Italy, where it preyed upon its civilians. After Kenji, Sammy, and Gia rescued some innocent skiiers from harm, the Pyraptor escaped and was returning to the Sanctuary (and is likely the same Pyroraptor Owen Grady and Kyla Watts encountered in Dominion). After discovering the dossier of all the dinosaurs located in the Biosyn Sanctuary, the trio found that Smoothie’s mother, Bumpy, had been moved there. The last we see of Kenji and Sammy is with Bumpy, as they approach the valley, not knowing the dangers that lurk within.
As for the rest of the Nublar Six, they will take the drone helicopter to the sanctuary to investigate what’s going on with Biosyn.
What to expect from Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 4?
The plan to rescue Bumpy
Bumpy has been a long-time friend and ally of the Nublar Six, and after rescuing the Ankylosaur, she’s in trouble once again after Kenji and Sammy discovered a dossier listing Bumpy as a new addition to the Biosyn Sanctuary in Italy.
Only Kenji and Sammy know of this development and are currently on their way to reunite Smoothie with his mother. We expect that once Ben learns of Bumpy’s whereabouts, he will be desperate to rescue his friend.

Will the helicopter crash?
From what we know about the events of Dominion, Biosyn has the technology to keep the flying dinosaurs at bay and stop them from attacking any aircraft attempting to reach the facility. But given that Dogdson is expecting the aircraft meant for Soyona, Brooklynn, Ben, Darius, and Yaz may be able to reach the Biosyn Sanctuary without much of a problem.
However, if we’ve learned anything in this series, it’s that plans typically suffer setbacks of the catastrophic kind. There’s a chance that if Dodgson learns of Soyona’s arrestand rrealizesshe isn’t onboard the aircraft, then there’s a chance he will lift the air defense system and allow the Quetzalcoatlus to attack the craft containing the rest of the Nublar Six.
It would for sure be an easy way to place them in peril and potentially reunite them with Kenji and Sammy inside the sanctuary.
