While Netflix was hard at work releasing excellent titles such as Stranger Things and Orange Is the New Black, HBO was releasing the smash hit series of the summer, Euphoria. The teen drama has sent waves throughout social media and has soon become one of the hottest and most debated shows of the summer. But is Euphoria available to stream on Netflix? Sadly not and it’s not likely the popular teen drama will be arriving anytime soon. But for anyone wishing to stream the series we’re on hand to tell you exactly where to find Euphoria online.
Euphoria is an American teen drama series created by Sam Levinson and is based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name by author Ron Lesham. The series has the Canadian rapper Drake listed as an executive producer on the series.
Euphoria is narrated by and also stars Zendaya. The series also stars Maude Apatow (daughter of Judd Apatow), Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, and Barbie Ferreira.
Becoming one of the most popular series of the summer, Euphoria has also had its fair share of controversy. Despite being acknowledged as a “teen drama” the series has been criticized by parents for the excessive amounts of drug use, sexual content, and violence. Naturally, the controversy has drawn viewers in by the millions.
What is the plot of Euphoria?
Life is hard, especially for teenagers trying to navigate their way through high-school. Rue Bennett is a 17-year-old recovering drug addict, struggling to find her place in the world, but when she meets Jules, a transgender girl, it’s not long before they become friends. Other students in Rue’s school struggle to find their own place in the world as they deal with issues around sexuality, body insecurities, and drugs.
Is Euphoria season 1 on Netflix US?
Unless you have a subscription to HBO you won’t be able to watch Euphoria in the US.
The series is unavailable on Netflix and is only available to stream on HBO’s streaming services HBO Now or HBO GO. A subscription to HBO Now will cost you $14.99 a month (first month free).
For as long as HBO licenses Euphoria, it won’t be on Netflix anytime soon.
Are other regions streaming Euphoria on Netflix?
