How cute… You want Kaguya-sama: Love Is War to be on Netflix? The popular romantic-comedy series has smashed its way to the forefront of many a people’s watch list after a great first season. But is Kaguya-sama: Love Is War currently streaming in your region? Let’s find out.
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is a romantic-comedy anime based on the manga of the same name. The manga debuted in 2015, with the first chapter appearing in Miracle Jump before moving over to Weekly Young Jump in 2016. At the time of writing 144 chapters have been published, with the manga still ongoing. Most notably the anime series has become huge on social media after Kaguya’s “how cute” was memed, not to mention the end credits dance has also become an online craze within the anime community.
Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane stand as the two smartest students at the prestigious academy they attend. Both in the school council, this makes them the elite of the elite. But as time has gone by the pair have fallen in love with each other, except neither will dare confess to other. Being too full of pride to confess first, the genius pair wage war on each other, trying to force a confession of love.
Is Kaguya-sama: Love Is War on Netflix US?
Unfortunately for fans wishing to stream the popular anime series won’t be able to on Netflix. The reason why Netflix doesn’t have the license to stream Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is because it is currently with FUNimation or Crunchyroll. If you wish to stream Kaguya-sama: Love Is War you will need a subscription to either service. FUNimation costs $5.99 a Month (the first month is free) or you can purchase their annual plan for $59.99. As for Crunchyroll, the cost to subscribe is $7.99 a month. Currently, there is no English dub but can expect to arrive on Funimation later this year.
What about other regions?
For Australian subscribers, you will need a subscription to AnimeLab. In Canada you can watch Kaguya-sama: Love Is War through Crunchyroll and FUNimation like the US.
In the UK you can watch all the episodes of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War through Crunchyroll. Alternatively, for an extra £4.99, you can add FUNimation Now onto an Amazon Prime account.
The only region currently streaming Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is Japan.
