The Belgian teen-drama series High Tides will be returning for a third season on Netflix, as confirmed by VRT (the show’s distributor in Belgium) and Netflix in separate blog posts. Filming is currently underway, and Anthony Schatteman (Young Hearts) is on board to direct this season as the series moves partially from the picturesque filming location of Knokke to Switzerland.
Also known as Knokke Off, High Tides has now been renewed just a couple of weeks after the second season landed on the streamer. The drama follows the lives of the wealthy residents of Knokke, a seaside town in the north-east of Belgium. While labeled a Netflix Original, the series is a co-production between VRT, which releases the series weekly on its network before Netflix carries the series with a myriad of dubbing and subtitle options.
VRT also provided an official rundown of what we can expect from season 3 (translated into English):
“In the third season, tensions rise as the secrets the teenagers carry threaten to come to light. Can Louise, Daan, and Alex rediscover themselves and stay true to who they are? Will they finally find the love and affection they long for, or will everything be overshadowed by the web of lies and intrigue that is closing in around them, making them just like their parents?”
Since season 2 was added to Netflix globally on March 21st (it released slightly earlier for those in the Netherlands and after a delay), the show picked up 1.6M views in its first week (6.9M hours watched), which is up from the 1.1M that season 1 did following its launch. Furthermore, the series featured in the weekly top 10s in over 17 countries, down from the 47 that featured the first season. To date, the show has spent 91 days in the Netherlands’ top 10 and 58 days in the Belgian top 10.
Pommelien Thijs, Willem De Schryver, Eliyha Altena, Ruth Becquart, Geert Van Rampelberg, Ini Massez, Ayana Doucouré, Pieter Genard, Anna Drijver, Emma Moorgat, and Viviane De Muynck are confirmed to be returning for the third season.

Per Netflix, “Dingie produces the series for Netflix and VRT, in collaboration with Dutch FilmWorks, with support from the City of Knokke-Heist and the Belgian Federal Government’s Tax Shelter initiative.”
When will High Tides season 3 be on Netflix? The streamer officially confirmed the show would return sometime in 2026. We’ll have more as and when we get it!
