After another successful season for the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, Netflix has greenlit GLOW for a third season. With GLOW becoming the standout performer in Netflix’s comedy show lineup, it comes as no surprise that the show has been renewed. Here is everything we know so far about Season 3 of GLOW.
For women, it has never been a better time to be a wrestling fan. With such talented performers across the industry, both in the WWE and on the independent scene, it comes as no surprise why GLOW is performing so well.
While it has taken many years for female performers to be given the same level of respect as their male counterparts, some credit can be given to the real-life wrestling promotion GLOW, which the show is based on.
Set in the 1980s, a group of women auditions to take part in a brand-new wrestling promotion for female wrestlers. After failing numerous auditions for the film industry, aspiring actress Ruth Wilder auditions for GLOW so she can finally use her acting talents.
Her former friend and rival Debbie also joins the promotion despite her disapproving husband. Through much trial and error, the ladies of GLOW begin to build their characters and polish their talent as in-ring performers while the first televised performance looms overhead.

What to expect from GLOW Season 3
Even after putting on a stellar performance in front of the K-DTV executives, the televised shows for GLOW were canceled. The ladies were told they were free to move to another network to create a new show, but they would be unable to take their characters with them. However, they were allowed to continue putting on live shows for the fans.
As all hope seems to vanish as the door closes, another is opened as strip club owner Ray offers them the chance to move the promotion to Las Vegas to perform in front of larger live audiences.
The ladies have packed their bags and have moved to Vegas. GLOW was becoming a popular show in California, but that doesn’t mean it will be the same for Nevada.
Adversity may come from poor crowd attendance for the first few live performances. With the new wrestling promotion to the city, it may take time for the ladies to build up their reputation again.
Ruth has just recovered from her ankle injury after Debbie had broken it earlier in Season 2. With her persona Zoya The Destroyer returning to the ring as champion, will the experience affect her in-ring performance or will she seek revenge on Debbie?
Alison Brie has also teased us that you can expect plenty more nudity in season 3, thanks to an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
We’ve also got your first pictures from season 3 of GLOW, which reveals a few things about the third season.
