What to expect from El Camino: A Breaking Bad
As we know, the story will follow Jesse in the aftermath of his escape from Jack’s Crew. After being imprisoned and tortured by the Neo-Nazis and not to mention Walter’s manipulation, Jesse’s psyche will be in a dangerous place. With Jack and his follower’s dead (thanks to Walter) Jesse is of least safe from them.
While Jesse has managed to escape, how much the cops know of Jesse’s involvement is up for debate. If Jack failed to destroy any of the evidence Todd stole then Jesse’s confession and all of Hank’s notes will be found. Jesse was Walter White’s previous second-hand man so there could be a nationwide manhunt for Pinkman.
Jesse is now a damaged and broken man, with nothing to lose except his freedom.
Will Bryan Cranston be returning for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie?
While some like Revenge of the Fans have ‘confirmed’ the actor’s involvement, nothing is official. Bryan Cranston has publicly expressed his interest in taking part in the sequel and had the following to say:
If Vince Gilligan asked me to do it, sure, absolutely. He’s a genius. It’s a great story, and there’s a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some sort of completion to some of these storylines that were left open. This idea, from what I was told, gets into at least a couple of the characters who were not completed as far as their journey. I can’t wait to see all those people again…even if I just come by to visit!
Very interesting indeed! We do believe that Cranston will return in some way but it will likely be in the form of a flashback. If Walter does return a great idea would for Walt to appear and haunt Jesse but have different iterations appear to either berate or to comfort Jesse.
