Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is about to air its final episode of season 4 on The CW. Most regions have been getting new episodes weekly but others haven’t. Here’s when Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will be on Netflix everywhere.
As you may have heard, The CW is wrapping up two of their female-led comedies this year with both Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin coming to an end. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend which stars Rachel Bloom (yes, the woman who sings “My Sex Junk” in Bill Nye’s show) involves her playing a character where she just can’t let her ex-boyfriend go and gets her into trouble.
In season 4, we find Rebecca Bunch in prison after her guilty plea in season 3.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has been streaming on Netflix in most regions since season 1 so has become a staple of the library. Despite being exclusive in most regions, it’s not considered a Netflix Original.
Now let’s take a look at its release schedule on Netflix as it will differ depending on where you live.
Netflix Weekly Release Schedule
Most countries will be getting weekly episodes of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend season 4. At the moment, this only includes the United Kingdom, but other regions may also be recipient of weekly episodes.
New episodes air on The CW on Fridays then arrive on Netflix in the UK the following morning.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 4 Netflix US Release Date
Sadly, those in the United States won’t be treated to weekly episodes but we do have good news. Unlike a few years back when Netflix used to get updates of The CW shows in October, it now gets them significantly earlier.
Since 2016, Netflix has been getting The CW shows added to the service between a week and two weeks after the finale airs on the network and that’s been the case so far in 2019 with Black Lightning and Legacies.
With the series now scheduled to end on April 5th, it’ll be on Netflix in mid-April 2019.
Netflix Australia and Netflix Canada Release
Netflix Australia will be the recipient of season 4 although will have the longest to wait. Season 3 was added this June so we expect to see it arrive in June 2019 at the absolute earliest but the reality is it could be several months afterward.
Netflix Canada, sadly, doesn’t get Crazy Ex-Girlfriend at all.
