Four classic Disney movies are scheduled to leave Netflix in June 2019. This shouldn’t come as a particular surprise but this now gives you a good few weeks to get your viewings in before they leave Netflix and inevitably eventually wind up on Disney+.
As you’ve probably heard, Disney is slowly moving their content away from Netflix over the next year or so as it transitions and puts its content onto the upcoming Disney+ service. There are several contracts in place with its TV contracts and of course, the theatrical movies that will be expiring of the course of several years.
Despite this, Netflix does still seem to be getting Disney movies in the US with John Carter arriving onto the service just this week.
The four titles scheduled to leave can either be watched as individual episodes or watched in the first episode as a complete movie. The titles are all classic Disney titles featuring some of Disney’s biggest titles such as Mickey and the Beanstalk, The Tortoise and the Hare, Three Little Pigs and The Prince of the Pauper.
All titles are now scheduled to be removed on June 1st, 2019.
It’s worth noting that Netflix has never had access to the fifth volume of the Disney Animation Collection which is Wind in the Willows.
