Bojack Horseman Season

July 2016 is shaping up to be a stellar month for Netflix Originals which is bolstered by the official confirmation from Netflix that Bojack Horseman will be appearing towards the end of the month when all episodes of season 3 release on July 22nd 2016.

It’s been two years since we got our first glimpse at the first Netflix Original animated sitcom and it turns out the first is still the king. It was joined by another animated sitcom last year entitled F is for Family starring Bill Burr and while it is a very good show in its own right, Bojack Horseman just has that edge and personality that pushes it into the lead.

The show’s second season was when it really started hitting its stride and the review reflect that managing to score a 100% mark on Rotten Tomatoes among other aggregators. It’s also been praised as one of the few shows that can meaningfully highlight mental illness in an animated sitcom. Bojack Horseman has also been the subject of a Critic’s Choice Television Award where it won the category for best animated series. The cast has stayed predominantly the same over the years and is expected to do so going into season 3 too with Will Arnett sticking as the lead role with Alison Brie, Aaron Paul, Amy Sedaris and Paul F. Tompkins still being listed as main characters.

Just to recap, season 3 of the show is coming on July 22nd 2016 and much like the previous seasons, we’re getting another 12 episodes and it’ll also sit alongside the two specials that were created one being Horsin’ Around that takes a look at Bojack’s old show on television and a Christmas special that premiered on Netflix in 2014. It’s likely we’ll have some more promotion coming up from Netflix including an official trailer and no doubt a guest appearance or two on Netflix’s new talk show, Chelsea.

For all things Bojack Horseman, keep your hooves locked in on What’s on Netflix.
