We’ve gotten the official global release date for the Netflix Original series, Bloodline and we only have a couple more months to wait until we travel back down south to the Florida Keys for season 2 of Bloodline.
10 episodes have been confirmed for the second season and we’ll continue right where we left off, with the Rayburn family in absolute turmoil. They’re struggling to keep their secrets buried and with more visitors from Danny’s past popping up, they’re about to struggle even more.
Once again, we see the return of season 1’s cast including Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz, Ben Mendelsohn and Sissy Spacek.
All of season 2 will be released onto Netflix globally on May 27th 2016. Bloodline will be launching alongside another Netflix Original on that Friday which is the food documentary series, Chef’s Table. It’ll also be released in Ultra HD 4k format.
Season 1 was met with a rather mixed response from both fans and critics with many complaints going after the pacing of the show which from the outset, is rather slow. It opts however for deep character development and that is what it thrives at.
With a reduction in the amount of episodes, we’re struggling to see how a potential season 3 of the show will be confirmed but we remain optimistic until we’ve seen season 2 first.
