The BBC has had a massive purge of their library from Netflix in late March and early April 2019. This includes big titles like Shetland, Fawlty Towers, Luther, The Royale Family, and countless documentaries that have all been removed from Netflix.
We first reported on the removal of many BBC titles at the beginning of March which has now come to fruition.
The majority of titles that have left over the past few days have now been streaming for a couple of years.
Some of the biggest removals include the original House of Cards series which Netflix’s first ever Original is based on. It also sees the UK version of The Office removed which will likely be followed by the US Office at a later date too.
A myriad of nature and historical documentaries also left including some series narrated by David Attenborough.
We’ll be updating our list of BBC content we’re expecting to come to Netflix to reflect the changes below shortly.
Note: all the removals apply to Netflix in the United States other regions may vary
