Netflix’s recent acquired brand Ask the Storybots will be returning to Netflix for its third season in August 2019. Here’s what you need to know about the next season.
Ask the Storybots has now been streaming on Netflix since 2016 with regular full seasons and specials up until now.
It had been thought season 3 was coming to Netflix this fall but instead, season 3 of Ask the Storybots is due to arrive on Netflix on August 2nd, 2019 around the world.
It’s not yet known how many episodes season 3 will consist of neither do we know what celebrity guests will feature in this season. Previously, the likes of Whoopie Goldberg, Weird Al, Christina Applegate, Snoop Dogg, and Ali Wong have all lent their voices to special appearances.
Ask the Storybots season 3 release date
As you may have heard earlier in the year, Netflix acquired both the brand and studio behind the show. Its acquisition allows it to position itself nicely against the upcoming kids focused streaming service, Disney+. It also comes in handy given Dreamworks contributions to Netflix look to be slowing down in future years.
