Season 11 of Anthony Bourdain’s CNN series Parts Unknown will be making its way onto Netflix over the Christmas period. This also means it’s now more likely that season 12 of Parks Unknown will come to Netflix.
The addition comes as we receive word of all the new additions for December 2018 which includes multiple title updates including The Magicians, Greenleaf, Alexa and Katie and The Ranch.
Season 11 is coming to Netflix in the United States on Christmas day (December 25th) alongside Marvel’s Infinity War.
Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown is a CNN cooking series which takes the late chef around the world searching out new cuisines and cultures. The troubled chef passed away during the summer.
Season 11 consists of 8 episodes which takes Anthony to locations such as the French Alps, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Southern Italy as well as locations closer to home such as Pittsburgh and Seattle.
Wasn’t Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown supposed to leave Netflix?
Throughout 2018, the series has been scheduled for removal multiple times. Its high profile removal in the summer was cancelled but later was up for renewal again.
Sadly, seasons 1 through 6 were removed from the service in October but Netflix did add season 10.
We may see older seasons removed from Netflix in 2019.
When will season 12 come to Netflix?
The final season aired from September 2018 and just recently wrapped up on November 2018. The latest series consisted of some filmed episodes and some produced highlight episodes.
We are expecting season 12 to come to Netflix though we may have a little bit of a wait. Right now, we’re expecting season 12 to come to Netflix in late 2019.
What about other regions?
All four of the main English speaking regions carry Parts Unknown. Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada all have seasons 1 through 8 at present. There’s been no announcement of when new seasons will come to these regions.
