If you haven’t heard by now, July is set to be a jam-packed month of new and returning titles on Netflix! In the list of amazing titles, Netflix is releasing their latest sci-fi epic Another Life. Another Life is a Netflix Original sci-fi series created by Aaron Martin. The series stars Katie Sackhoff, who isn’t a stranger to science fiction thanks to her work on the reboot of Battlestar Galactica. Halfire Entertainment is the production studio behind Another Life, with creator Aaron Martin and Noreen Halpern serving as executive producers.

The following synopsis has been given for Another Life:
“Astronaut Niko Breckinridge leads a team of astronauts into the space in search of intelligent life. Their mission is to find the source of a mysterious alien artifact that appeared on Earth. During their mission, the crew faces unparalleled danger on what could be a one-way trip.”

When and where did production take place?
Filming for Another Life began in August of 2018 and concluded on November 20th but the series didn’t enter post-production until the 18th of March, 2019.
The locations used for filming were held in British Columbia, Canada. British Columbia is one of the most beautiful regions in the world so we could potentially see some stunning visuals throughout the series.

How many episodes will the first season debut?
The first season will be debuting with ten episodes! Typically Netflix air seasons with approximately 8 to 13 episodes. The most common being ten.
What are the episode run times?
Information on episode run times has yet to be announced. It wouldn’t be surprising if each episode is roughly an hour long.
