The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse – Season 1 – Part 2 – First Look
Despite being released weekly, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse fans were disappointed when the first season halted at 11 episodes. Those same fans will be delighted to learn that Part 2 of the first season arrive in late June 2024.
As the sequel to the incredibly popular anime The Seven Deadly Sins, no time was wasted producing an anime adaptation of Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Animated by TMS Entertainment, the change in studios has seen a significant improvement in animation, for which its predecessor was heavily criticized for multiple seasons.
The story of Four Knights of the Apocalypse takes place several years after the events of The Seven Deadly Sins. It follows Percival, a simple boy who secretly longs for adventure. After discovering he is destined to join a group of holy knights prophecized to destroy the world, Percival is forced into an adventure and searches for the other three prophecized knights.
When is The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Season 1 Part 2 coming to Netflix?
Netflix first confirmed in their round-up what’s to come in June 2024 that Part 2 will arrive sometime during the month.
It wasn’t until the trailer was released on the morning of May 31st that it confirmed that the new batch of episodes would be arriving globally on June 27th, 2024.
What is the episode count?
Thirteen episodes are remaining of season 1. It remains unclear if all thirteen episodes will arrive simultaneously or weekly.
Has Netflix renewed The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse for a second season?
In March 2024, on the main stage at AnimeJapan 2024, it was revealed that The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse had been renewed for a second season.
It was also revealed that new episodes would begin broadcasting in Japan in October 2024.
What this means for the Netflix release schedule hasn’t been revealed. The most likely scenario is a repeat of the first season, with new episodes released weekly starting in January 2025.
It would be preferable if Netflix could simulcast episodes of season 2 the same week they are broadcast in Japan.
