Original story
Netflix did distribute another of Voltage Pictures titles from Sundance with them exclusively distributing Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, And Vile earlier in the year. Aviron has no overall output deals so depending on how well the movie performs on Netflix UK (and it looks as though it did) Netflix may get the movie added in each region in the pay-1 window. Which means we’ll probably see After available on Netflix in late 2019 or early 2020.
Also for fans looking for a sequel, we’ve got good news. In May 2019, a month after its US release got announced that a second movie is in production.
