Over the past year, we’ve seen an influx of Paramount+ Original titles and Showtime series either coming to Netflix for the first time or returning. Here’s an updated library guide of all the Showtime series currently available on Netflix in the US.

Note: This list is specifically for Netflix in the United States. The lineups in other regions will vary, with some titles being available and others not. Removal dates listed are subject to change.

We should note that throughout the 2010s, Netflix has had access to many Showtime titles on a first-run basis. They used to stream Californication, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Episodes, Penny Dreadful, The Borgias, The L Word, Waco, and Queer as Folk, among others. That mainly stopped as we approached the 2020s as Showtime’s parent company, Paramount, focused on building up its library of shows on CBS All Access, which later became Paramount+.

We’re also not going to include the limited series Ripley despite the fact the show originated at Showtime before switching to get a Netflix release.

One of the biggest Showtime series of all time is Dexter, a crime drama in which Michael C. Hall plays the titular Dexter Morgan. With a thirst for killing, Dexter must marry his job at the Miami Metro PD with his dark passenger.

Dexter was re-added to Netflix in international territories in early 2024 before getting a big US return in late June 2024. It was previously streaming on Netflix for an extended stretch throughout most of the 2010s before being removed in December 2020. The show is currently and has been subject to a number of spin-offs all of which have been exclusive to Paramount+.

The two-season drama depicts Cranston as a respected judge who discovers his son has been involved in a hit-and-run. After initially planning on doing the right thing, he discovers that the victim is connected to a drug kingpin.

The gripping series is one of Cranston’s best roles post Breaking Bad with other cast members in the show, including Hunter Doohan, Hope Davis, Sofia Black-D’Elia, and Isiah Whitlock Jr.
