Netflix looks to be cleaning house of some of its older shows from the Lifetime Network with both seasons 1 and 2 of The Client List now scheduled to leave Netflix in the United States come March 31st, 2019.
Starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, the short-lived show ran between 2010 and 2013. The premise of the series is that Jennifer’s character Samantha and her husband loses their jobs. Desperate to keep her family together, Samantha gets a job at a massage parlor but has to perform “additional tasks” for her clients.
In total across the two seasons, there are 25 episodes available at roughly 40 minutes apiece.
The removal date looks to be final and is scheduled for March 31st. What’s interesting is that Netflix didn’t include the series for removal in their “official list” of titles leaving Netflix for March.
Both seasons have been streaming on Netflix for a number of years. The last time the series was renewed on Netflix was exactly two years ago on March 31st, 2017.
Will The Client List be removed from other Netflix regions?
Other regions such as the United Kingdom are also streaming The Client List but don’t yet have removal dates. It’s likely they will also face removal at some point in the future.
As we implied above, it’s not the first Lifetime series to leave Netflix recently. The longer running Drop Dead Diva also recently departed Netflix after several years of streaming.
The Lifetime Network was also home to ‘YOU’ before Netflix recently picked it up. The network has been shifting its strategy recently focusing more on reality and documentary type shows instead of their drama series.
