If you can believe it, The CW’s The 100 has been off the air for five years now. All 100 episodes have streamed on Netflix in most regions worldwide, but 2025 will mark the show’s end, at least on Netflix. The rights are soon expiring, including in the United States.
Running for seven seasons and 100 episodes, The 100 is the sci-fi teen show that very much defined the network throughout the 2010s. It was a big-budget teen show that adapted popular material for the network. Of course, The CW has abandoned that strategy under its new ownership, and Netflix cut ties with them over six years ago.
The series, headlined by Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Thomas McDonell, and Eli Goree, takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is living in a space habitat. After receiving word that the surface of Earth may be habitable again, 100 juveniles are sent down to explore.
You may recall we’ve already covered The 100 leaving before. In April 2023, we noted that a few regions, such as Canada, the Netherlands, and India, saw the show depart in May 2023, around three years after the final season dropped on Netflix. More have seen the show depart since then, with the rights sold to a myriad of other services through Warner Bros. Television.
When will The 100 leave Netflix in the United States?
Our original prediction for The 100 leaving Netflix US was for October 2020, but it’ll actually be a few months later. Our intel currently suggests all seven seasons of The 100 will leave Netflix on December 18th, 2025.
Of course, this isn’t the only show from The CW set to leave Netflix this year. In fact, three titles are leaving in December alongside The 100, including Arrow (very much a cornerstone of the Arrowverse, which has largely been streaming on Netflix in full) and the fan-favorite Supernatural. Removals will continue until at least 2029, with Black Lightning and Supergirl scheduled to depart in 2026.

What about other regions? When are they losing The 100? The Czech Republic has seen seasons slowly bleeding off of Netflix for a while now, with only season 7 remaining. That’s due to depart in May. That removal date, May 19th, also applies to all other territories across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia that have held onto the show thus far. That includes countries like Romania, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Hungary, Hong Kong and South Korea.
Are you going to be disappointed when The 100 leaves Netflix?
