Most Anticipated New Releases on Netflix This Week
My Hero Academia (Seasons 1-4)
Coming to Netflix: Monday (Now streaming)
As announced late last week, Netflix is going to be streaming four seasons of the beloved anime series My Hero Academia and the 2018 movie My Hero Academia: Two Heroes alongside a slew of fan favorites in the near future.
Per Netflix, here’s what you can expect from the anime series if you’ve not checked it out before:
“After he saves a bully from a Villain, a normal student is granted a superpower that allows him to attend a high school training academy for Heroes.”
Of course, Netflix’s ambitions for My Hero Academia expand beyond just having the anime series with a live-action adaptation currently in the works.
The Conners (Seasons 1-5)
Coming to Netflix: Wednesday
Serving as a spin-off to the popular ABC series Roseanne, The Conners has now been on the air since 2018, and although it has a dedicated fanbase who tune in each week to watch, it’s been a pain to watch the series on streaming – until now!
All five of the previous seasons are coming to Netflix, which will have you following a working-class family struggling to get by. John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, and Michael Fishman headline the cast.
Vikings (Seasons 1-6)

As we first reported all the way back in 2021, Netflix had secured the rights to all six seasons of the beloved scripted drama series Vikings, but you’d have to wait three years to do so. Those three years are now up, and the time is here.
Across 89 episodes, you’ll be following Ragnar Lothbrok (played by Travis Fimmel), a legendary Viking chieftain who, alongside his crew, is notorious across the lands.
It’s a perfect time to binge-watch all six seasons of the original Vikings series, with the third and final season of Vikings: Valhalla planned to debut on Netflix globally this year.
