Welcome to another rundown on what’s on the way to Netflix over the next seven days. Below, we’ll take a look at all the new movies and series set to arrive and leave over the next week.

This week, probably on Wednesday, we’re expecting Netflix to release its full preview for the month of April. We’ve just recently announced a bunch more titles to be on the way, which we’re tracking here.

Now, let’s take a look into some highlights of what’s coming up and then dive into the full lists:

Most Anticipated Upcoming Releases on Netflix This Week

3 Body Problem (Season 1) Netflix Original

Coming to Netflix: Thursday

There are lofty expectations for this brand-new sci-fi series from the team behind Game of Thrones, which will land exclusively on Netflix. It’s a wildly ambitious series that adapts the Chinese novels of the same name.

Here’s what you can expect:

“Across continents and decades, five friends make earth-shattering discoveries as the laws of science unravel and an existential threat emerges.”

The Casagrandes Movie (2024) Netflix Original

Coming to Netflix: Friday

The latest Nickelodeon / Netflix animated feature film based on Nick’s vast IP library is due out this week with a very colorful entry that serves as a follow-up to The Casagrandes, which is a follow-on from The Loud House.

The film is about the now 12-year-old Ronnie Anne, who accidentally frees a demigod trapped in a mountain while on a birthday trip to Mexico.

The voice cast for the movie includes Izabella Alvarez, Sumalee Montano, Paulina Chávez, Angélica Aragón, Sonia Manzano, Kate del Castillo, and Cristo Fernández.

Mending the Line (2022)

Coming to Netflix: Saturday

Brian Cox is perhaps best known for his more recent role in the HBO series Succession, where he plays a foul-mouthed media CEO but if you want to see him in a role that’s the total 180 opposite, we’d recommend checking out Mending the Line which makes its SVOD debut on Netflix US this weekend.

The story revolves around John Colter, a wounded veteran who is dealing with multiple demons following his tours but goes some way to readjusting by bonding with a headstrong fly-fisherman.
