Netflix Originals Coming In November Scaled

It’s time for an early look at the Netflix Originals that will be launching onto Netflix globally throughout November 2021. It’s going to be an action-packed month, particularly for Netflix Original movies. 

Missed any of the previous months’ Netflix Originals? Check out our previews for September 2021 and October 2021.

Before we dive into what’s confirmed for Netflix in November 2021, we should note that Green Eggs and Ham season 2 is expected to arrive but no official confirmation just yet. F is for Family season 5 which will serve as the final season is also expected to arrive around Thanksgiving but we’ve yet to have official confirmation on that either.

Also, we must note that this list is a work-in-progress – keep it bookmarked for the latest.

The Harder They Fall Netflix

Announced back in July 2019, this new Western movie comes from the director, Jeymes Samuel and is seen by some as a spiritual successor to his previous 2013 western, They Die by Dawn.

Here’s what you can expect:

“When an outlaw (Jonathan Majors) discovers his enemy (Idris Elba) is being released from prison, he reunites his gang to seek revenge in this Western.”

Among the incredible cast for the movie includes Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Jonathan Majors, Edi Gathegi, LaKeith Standfield, Regina King, Delroy Lindo, Tait Fletcher, RJ Cyler, Deon Cole, and countless others.


Love Hard

Coming to Netflix: November 5th

Nina Dobrev, Jimmy O. Yang and Darren Barnet will headline this new romantic comedy that’s directed by Hernán Jiménez and produced by McG.

Set in Los Angeles, the movie follows a woman who falls for a man while on a dating app who lives on the other side of the country but when traveling to meet, she finds out she’s been catfished.


Narcos: Mexico (Season 3)

It’s going to be the end of the road for the Narcos: Mexico spin-off series which will be Narcos’s sixth season on Netflix overall.

The final season sees a change in showrunner with Carlo Bernard taking over from Eric Newman. Season 3 picks up where season 2 leaves off with war breaking out after Felix’s arrest.


Gentefied (Season 2)

Adapting the 2017 digital short, Gentefied continues next month with the three Mexican-American cousins chasing the American Dream and hitting plenty of bumps along the way.


Passing

Coming to Netflix: November 10th

Passing Netflix Movie November

Rebecca Hall writes and directs this black and white film headlined by Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga which is set in New York.

The film will follow the reunion of two high school friends who both live in a bubble of sorts that is threatened to be burst.


Red Notice 

Coming to Netflix: November 12th

Red Notice Netflix Fall

One of Netflix’s biggest blockbusters in history arrives in mid-November. It’s got three of arguably the biggest movie stars in the business right now with Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot fronting the action-comedy.

Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber the movie focuses on an Interpol agent who is tracking the world’s most wanted art thief.

The movie reportedly has a budget of $160 million.

Tiger King was one of the first big hits for Netflix during COVID-19 and after a long wait (and countless teases) we’re finally diving into the world of Tiger King again where you can guarantee at least one thing, it’s going to mad.

Hot off the release of Vivo! on Netflix, Lin-Manuel Miranda will make his directorial debut with this new musical headlined by Andrew Garfield, Alexandra Shipp, Robin de Jesús, Vanessa Hudgens, and Judith Light.

The musical is an autobiography by Jonathan Larson who is the creator of Rent.

The movie will receive a limited theatrical release with it hitting cinemas on November 12th.


Cowboy Bebop

Already proving the most controversial release of November is the live-action adaptation of the classic anime series that is Cowboy Bebop.

Led by John Cho who plays Spike, the series follows a group of bounty hunters who are on the run whilst simultaneously trying to catch the solar system’s most dangerous criminals.

André Nemec and Jeff Pinkner are showrunning.


Bruised

Coming to Netflix: November 24th

Netflix reportedly paid $20 million for this Halle Berry-directed movie that’s about an MMA fighter (played by Berry) who has been down on her luck in recent years but has a plan to get her life back in order.


True Story

Coming to Netflix: November 24th

True Story Netflix November

Wesley Snipes and Kevin Hart co-star in this limited series about a life or death moment for Kid who is one of the world’s most famous comedians.

The series comes from Eric Newman and is directed by Stephen Williams and Hanelle M. Culpepper.


Robin Robin

Coming to Netflix: November 27th

Netflix Movies Coming In Christmas Robin Robin

From Aardman Animation (the studio behind Chicken Run and Shaun the Sheep) comes this 30-minute musical short shot entirely in stop-motion.

It’s about a bird that’s been raised by mice who begins questioning where she comes from.

Among the voice cast for Robin Robin includes Gillian Anderson and Richard E. Grant.

Assembling a huge cast including Kristen Wiig, Michiel Huisman and Maggie Smith, this Narnia-esque movie sees an ordinary young boy called Nikolas setting out on an extraordinary adventure to search for his father.


A Castle for Christmas

In this Christmas-themed movie, we follow Sophie, a famed author played by Brooke Shields, who travels to Scotland and decides to buy a castle but runs into problems with the current owner.

Among the cast for the family comedy are Cary Elwes, Brooke Shields, Suanne Braun, and Lee Ross.

The third movie of Netflix’s The Princess Switch which lives in the shared Christmas universe drops in November 2021 just before the holiday season.

Venessa Hudgens will return in an unspecified number of roles for the third outing which was shot earlier this year.

The Unlikely Murderer

A new crime limited series from Sweden based on Stig Engström who was suspected of killing Sweden’s prime minister Olof Palme in 1986.


We Couldn’t Become Adults

Coming to Netflix: November 5th
Language: Japanese

We Couldnt Become Adults Netflix

This Japanese film starring Mirai Moriyama will see a man transported back to his memories in the 1990s after a surprise friend request.

Directed by Yoshihiro Mori and Hayato Kawai.

The movie will also release in theaters in Japan.


Hellbound

This new Korean horror series that promises to be the next big hit from the region. The series is set in a dystopian future where people are able to know when they will die and when that time comes, they’re killed by a death angel.


7 Prisoners

Language: Portuguese

Prisoners Netflix November

With glowing reviews, 7 Prisoners is about a teenage laborer who has to make incredibly tough calls while fighting for survival.

The movie serves as a follow-up to Socrates and is directed by Alexandre Moratto.
