Summer is finally here and if it’s too warm outside and you’re looking for your next binge, you’re in luck! Netflix has a fantastic lineup of new titles coming over the next several months and we’re providing you with an in-depth look as to what you can expect.
Below we’ve covered the Netflix Originals (both series and movies) currently scheduled plus titles from Disney, ABC and The CW which we’re almost certain are releasing during this time period.
Will Netflix’s Summer of Movies return?
A couple years ago, Netflix announced its so-called ‘summer of movies’ where multiple high profile titles landed on Netflix including the likes of Jurassic Park, Fast and Furious and Spotlight all joined Netflix. Although Netflix isn’t doing the exact same thing, it has some giant movie releases for 2018 as we’ll explore below.
Our preview starts at the end of May and takes us all the way to the end of August before we enter the fall!
End of May 2018

June 2018
We’ve began cataloging and previewing each of the big Netflix Original titles coming out in June already but we’re also expecting a large dump of other titles too. In particular, the majority of the ABC library on Netflix will be getting refreshed with new seasons come June.
Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok will also likely be joining Netflix in the heat of the summer.

August is a little to far in the future to know the full extent as to what’s coming. The biggest standout for most will be the now final season of Once Upon A Time which typically gets refreshed in August. We’re also looking forward to The Innocents coming later in the month.
