Spring is finally here and Netflix has plenty of new movies and TV shows to keep you occupied over the coming months. Below, we’ll preview everything we know that’s coming to Netflix from the Netflix Original lineup plus for those in the United States, we’ll take a look at the Disney and Marvel movies on the horizon as well as titles from The CW too.
This list will cover a selection of titles coming between March 20th and June 21st but by no means reflects the final list. As always, dates and titles are subject to change without notice and everything was correct at the time of publishing.
End of March 2018
From March 20th onwards we’re still expecting a massive dump of Netflix Originals on March 23rd and March 30th bringing with it some fantastic new titles and returning ones too.
On March 23rd we’re seeing new series Alexa and Katie a new kids sitcom featuring some familiar faces. We’re also getting a new season of Dinotrux Supercharged too for the kids. Netflix and the BBC have had two major releases in March with the second coming on March 23rd in the form of Requiem.
On March 30th we’ll see the long-awaited return of Niel Patrick Harris returning to play Count Olaf in the second season of A Series of Unfortunate Events. March 30th will also mark the date of release for the final season of Trailer Park Boys which is now in its twelfth season.

April 2018
Netflix Originals
It’s going to be a bumper month for Netflix Originals throughout April 2018. Although we’ve covered in quite some detail those titles that are coming, here are our picks of the best. Netflix will be releasing the first season of their latest Dreamworks project, The Boss Baby: Back in Business which brings the movie to the small screen with the exception of Alec Baldwin at the helm.
Netflix is rebooting the classic kids show Lost in Space with an all-new cast and visual look but hopefully keeping the charm and optimism of the original series. That’ll be releasing on April 13th. A new Chef’s Table spinoff called Pastry will be arriving in the middle of the month and Adam Sandler’s next Netflix project The Week Of arriving on April 27th.
We haven’t quite gotten the full list of titles coming to Netflix in April 2018 but we do have a complete list of Netflix Originals currently scheduled to land.
May 2018
Netflix Originals
Only three Netflix Originals have been announced for May so far. First up, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be returning for season 4 but unlike previous seasons, the show will now be split into two halves akin to other shows like The Ranch and Disjointed. That’ll arrive on May 30th.
A documentary from Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman called Endgame will be arriving in the early stages of the month that will look into medical practitioners working on the front line. Another documentary will release on May 1st called Jewel’s Catch One which will look at the oldest Black-owned discos in America.
The CW
The CW will kick off their release schedule properly on Netflix from May onwards. These dates are a little shaky given we don’t have official finale confirmation dates but here’s what we’re expecting to land in May. Jane the Virgin season 4, Supernatural season 13 and iZombie season 4.
Thor: Ragnarok
The massive third entry to the Thor title came last year with an extended appearance of the Hulk as the pair battle to save Asgard. We’re expecting Ragnarok to arrive in late May or June 2018.
June 2018
Netflix Originals
Only a small selection of titles have been announced for release in June 2018. The biggest title to be announced so far is the second season of Luke Cage which is coming on June 22nd. Expect new baddies, some potential crossovers and more action from the bulletproof man.
Three movies are currently known for release throughout June including a new thriller called Hold the Dark based on the novel releasing on June 1st. Post-apocalyptic thriller starring Martin Freeman Cargo will arrive on June 8th. Finally, spy thriller The Angel will arrive on June 15th.
The CW
More releases should land on Netflix US throughout June from The CW library. Riverdale season 2 will be the biggest title to release which has been a smash hit this season. The DC library on The CW will likely be dropping throughout June with season 4 of The Flash, season 3 of Supergirl and season 6 of Arrow. We’re also expecting season 5 of The 100 to arrive in June too!
Coco
Disney Pixar’s megahit from 2017 is expected to land on Netflix US in June 2018. The movie is an animated movie that takes on the Mexican Day of the Dead resulting in one of the most imaginative and colorful titles from the animation company. We’re sincerely hoping Netflix gets an HDR or 4K version as this will look absolutely stunning.
ABC Releases
Throughout June we’re also expecting some big releases from ABC to finally arrive on Netflix. These include Grey’s Anatomy (Season 14), Agents of SHIELD (Season 5), the final season of Scandal and if we’re lucky Once Upon a Time but that one may slip.
