A new month means new movies! Below, we’ll take a look at our most anticipated movies coming to Netflix in the US and around the world, including the new Millie Bobby Brown and Adam Sandler movies coming exclusively to the service.
As always, we’ll split this article into two parts – firstly, we’ll cover four Netflix Originals coming to Netflix globally that should be on your radar and then dive into some of the licensed titles specifically heading to Netflix in the United States.

Most Anticipated New Netflix Originals Coming in March 2024
Spaceman (2024)
Coming to Netflix: March 1st
Starting off the month with a bang is Spaceman, the new sci-fi epic that sees Adam Sandler return to Netflix for another serious role, and for the most part, it looks like he nails it even if the movie has some other flaws.
Based on the novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfar, the movie comes from director Johan Renck and writer Colby Day and is about an astronaut on a solo mission befriending a talking spider that may be able to help restore Earth to its former glory.
In our yet-to-be-published review of the movie (keep an eye on our what to watch section for that in due course), our critic Andrew Morgan concludes:
“Spaceman has the bones of a good story with messaging worth exploring, but doesn’t quite give its audience enough (besides plenty of off-brand Nutella) to make it as memorable as its peers in the subgenre. Solid performances from Sandler, Mulligan, & Rossellini along with the dulcet & composed voice work from Paul Dano as Hanus the Spider cannot elevate the movie from more than adequate.”
The Casagrandes Movie
Coming to Netflix: March 22nd
Netflix’s library of Nickelodeon titles will grow next month with possibly the most colorful and artistic feature film to date in the form of The Casagrandes Movie, which comes from director Miguel Puga.
What can you expect from the movie? Here’s the official synopsis:
“After a surprise family trip to Mexico derails Ronnie Anne’s birthday plans, she is determined to prove that she’s old enough to do her own thing – even if it means confronting an ancient preteen demigod whose angst has apocalyptic potential!”
Damsel
Coming to Netflix: March 8th
Netflix’s first significant fantasy movie release of the year has been a long time coming. Initially destined for our screens last year, the Millie Bobby Brown-led movie where she plays Elodie will be dropping on March 8th, and we’re super curious to see how this one does. On the one hand, you’ve got the most prominent star from one of Netflix’s biggest shows, but on the other hand, the footage thus far has been a mixed bag.
Brown plays a damsel in a twist on the classic fairytale story where instead of marrying Prince Charming, she’s been recruited to serve as a sacrifice for a hungry dragon to repay an ancient debt.
Starring alongside Brown are Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Angela Basset, and Robin Wright.
The Beautiful Game
Coming to Netflix: March 29th
New from Netflix UK this month is The Beautiful Game, a new sports biopic movie that comes from director Thea Sharrock. Starring Bill Nighy, Cristina Rodlo and Valeria Golino, the film seeks to dramatize the annual soccer (football) tournament known as The Homeless World Cup.
Don’t forget that this is one of two Nighy movies bound your way in 2024, with his other movie, Joy, recently confirmed for a 2024 release.
The Wages of Fear (2024)
Coming to Netflix: March 29th
When should a classic movie be left alone and not rebooted? We may get to find out that answer at the end of March with the release of The Wages of Fear; a new French take on the classic movie from 1953 from director Julien Leclercq, who is a frequent collaborator with Netflix, having worked on the Ganglands series among other projects.
“In order to prevent a deadly explosion,” read the synopsis, continuing, “an illicit crack team has 24 hours to drive two truckloads of nitroglycerine across a desert laden with danger.
Best New Licensed Movies Coming in March 2024
Bodies Bodies Bodies
Coming to Netflix: March 20th
Continuing Netflix’s licensing of A24 hits from the past few years, Bodies Bodies Bodies is one of two titles from the distributor to be landing on Netflix US throughout March.
From Halina Reijn and starring Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, with Lee Pace and Pete Davidson, the movie is about a group of 20-somethings heading to a family mansion for a night of games and drug-filled chaos. They certainly get the chaos part down if nothing else.
Kill Bill 1 & 2
Coming to Netflix: March 31st
Quentin Tarantino movies come and go from the Netflix library constantly, and in March, we’re happy to report you’ll be able to do a back-to-back double screening of Kill Bill, which arrives just before we head into April.
Serving as Tarantino’s fourth and fifth films (the director reportedly considers them to be a single movie), the movie was also the last at what was then called Miramax, which transitioned into Dimension Films and The Weinstein Company in the years to come.
Uma Thurman stars as the Bride on a quest for revenge against her former comrades and leader after she was left for dead.
There’s Something in the Barn (2023)
Coming to Netflix: March 20th
Making its SVOD debut on Netflix US next month is the horror-comedy slasher movie There’s Something in the Barn. It is about a family who travels on vacation to a remote part of Norway only to find out they are in the company of a killer gnome.
The movie picked up strong reviews from critics when it was released in theaters late last year, and we suspect it might be a sleeper hit when it drops on Netflix.
